Ethos multi-technology readers from WaveLynx Technologies allow for a versatile transition. They offer a choice of credential technologies along with OSDP auto detect, which allows for 24/7 mission-critical security at any site.

Ethos multi-technology readers were designed to help end users make a seamless transition when upgrading from legacy physical credentials to highly secure smart cards or mobile credentials.
Ethos readers enable the use of encrypted smart cards and mobile credentials for access control, while maintaining functionality with existing proximity credentials.
Ethos readers are fully OSDP compliant and are enabled for secure channel and remote firmware upgrades.

Patented OSDP Autodetect

All WaveLynx Technologies Ethos Series readers have OSDP communication with a patented auto detect feature. That includes the ET10 Mullion Reader, the ET20 Wall Mount Reader and the ET25 Keypad Reader. The auto-detect feature allows the reader to automatically switch from the Wiegand protocol to OSDP when the panel is upgraded to OSDP, with no need to re-wire or re-configure the reader for OSDP functionality. Secure smart cards or mobile credentials can be introduced at any time.
