The latest Software House input/output modules are quick, cost-effective ways to increase the security of your critical assets in your own time. These drop-in replacements for I8/R8 boards allow you to gradually upgrade to a secure OSDP channel while still supporting the RM protocol.
This new family of modules increases performance via faster processors and memory, all without an intensive system overhaul.
Paired with OSDP-verified iSTAR G2 controllers, these modules exponentially increase your security from device to controller. They enable you to expand your controller capacity with eight inputs per module and eight outputs module, reducing costly real estate and wiring requirements.

Your path to OSDP

OSDP – also known as Open Supervised Device Protocol – is an international access control communications standard. It was developed to improve interoperability among access control and security products. Our OSDP I/O module portfolio enables you to gradually upgrade your hardware to the newest two-way secure communication channels, without having to go through a cost-intensive overhaul.
