Through victor Web Services, the C•CURE 9000 visitor and event management system integrates with Ticto Wearable Technology (Badgeholders and Pins) to provide continuous visual security awareness. Focusing on actual authorized presence, these visual security wearables allow you to instantly ‘see’ if people are authorized to be in a specific location. Visitors can be virtually tethered to a host; If a visitor wanders off, the Badgeholder will indicate this and the host will be notified through the My Ticto App. The My Ticto App further extends the functionality of the wearable, allowing employees to report emergencies, security incidents or suspicious behavior. They can use the app to see who the people are around them: other employees or visitors. And the app even lets security personnel send security push-notifications to employees.
The integration itself is transparent: employee, visitor and access control policies can be viewed in C•CURE 9000. While an authorized person in a sensitive area badges in at the entrance, C•CURE 9000 sends an event to the Ticto Gateway. The gateway, installed at each entrance to the protected area, will then send the correct crypto key to the secure chip in the Ticto wearable, triggering the appropriate visual sequence being displayed. Badging out of the sensitive area is as simple as tapping against the Ticto Gateway, discontinuing the visual sequence.
